Business Standard includes email, Teams and the Office apps for every employee. Business Premium adds protection: if a laptop is lost, whoever finds it can't read what's on it; someone who gets an employee's password can't sign in from another computer; and if an employee clicks a dangerous link in an email, the page is blocked before it opens.
Online, at a time you choose · no obligation · afterwards you get our offer in writing
For each situation, you can see what happens with Business Standard and what happens with Business Premium. We only compare the licenses.
Already have managed IT with us? The protection in your subscription works with either license.
The five layers of security in the subscription, from antivirus to the specialist analysts we work with, who watch alerts 24/7, also work with Business Standard. Business Premium adds the rules from the license on top. What managed IT includes
A laptop left on a train or stolen carries the company's documents. Two things matter: whether whoever finds it can read them, and whether you still have them. On phones, if you ask us, work apps are kept apart from personal ones. That way, company data can be wiped without touching the employee's photos or messages.
Included in the license: Microsoft Intune Plan 1
The company can't require the laptop's drive to be encrypted or wipe its data remotely.
Whoever finds the laptop can't read the files, the documents are already saved in OneDrive, and company data can be wiped remotely.
A password reaches someone else more easily than it seems: through a fake email, or because it was also used on another site. The question is whether, with the password, they can get into the employee's account.
Included in the license: Microsoft Entra ID P1, Conditional Access
Signing in to the account works from any computer, not just the company's.
Signing in works only from company devices. From any other computer, access is refused, even with the right password.
Dangerous emails usually pose as a colleague or a supplier. A link can be harmless when the email arrives and dangerous later, when someone clicks it. With Premium, files in SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams are checked the same way.
Included in the license: Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Plan 1
The link is checked only once, when the email arrives. If the page turns dangerous later, the link still opens.
The link is checked again when the employee clicks it, so a page that has turned dangerous in the meantime is blocked. Attachments are first opened in an isolated place, to see whether they're dangerous, and only then reach the employee.
Not every attack uses a program already known to be dangerous. Sometimes it's a new program that starts changing the files on the computer. If we run your IT, an analyst confirms it's really an attack and stops it spreading.
Included in the license: Microsoft Defender for Business
Computers only have the antivirus built into Windows, which mostly recognizes files already known to be dangerous.
The protection also watches what each program does: if one starts changing many files at once, an alert goes out, even if the program is new.
A document can leave the company in an email sent by mistake or copied to a USB stick. We decide together with you which documents get marked confidential.
Included in the license: Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels
Anyone who receives the document can open it.
A document marked confidential can be opened only by colleagues in the company, even if it reaches someone else.

A license that's purchased but never configured protects nothing. That's why we configure every company computer, Windows or Mac, in a single setup:
Firewall and antivirus turned on, and employees can't install programs on their own.
Alerts for suspicious programs on computers, and checks on links and files in email, Teams and SharePoint.
Drive encryption, automatic saving of the desktop and documents to OneDrive, and labels for confidential documents.
Windows updates are installed on time, and if a computer doesn't follow the rules, we get an alert.
Sign-in only from company devices, and employees resetting their own passwords without calling support.
Installed and set up on every computer.
Rules that don't change how you work, such as drive encryption and updates.
Rules that change how you work. For example, whether company files open only on office computers or from home too. It's the company's decision, not a technical one.
How it's paid. The setup is done once, at the start, and paid separately, at the price in the offer. For companies with managed IT, keeping these rules in place is then part of the monthly subscription. Phones are set up on request.

On its own, the license doesn't make a company NIS2-compliant. But it helps meet part of the 13 key measures at the basic level of DNSC Order no. 1/2026: up-to-date antivirus on every computer, security updates, a second confirmation step when someone signs in from outside the office, employees who can't change their computer's settings on their own, and a record of security alerts.
If your company is preparing for NIS2 or ISO 27001 certification, Business Premium covers part of the technical requirements. What the order requires, measure by measure, is in our NIS2 guide.

If we run your IT, the five layers of security work with any license: antivirus, attack detection on computers, detection of compromised accounts, the specialist analysts we work with, who watch alerts 24/7, and the clean-up of computers after an attack, done by our team.
Business Premium adds rules applied on every computer and phone and one more source of alerts, so an attack is seen from two places, not one. How the five layers work
Business Premium costs €20.01 per user per month, versus €12.74 for Standard, plus VAT. It's worth it when the company has laptops that leave the office, people who also work from home, client data, or security requirements that come from clients or from NIS2. For a company that only uses email and online documents, Standard may be enough. We look at your company's situation together in the free assessment.
Yes, licenses can be mixed. We still recommend Premium for everyone who works with company data, because Premium protections apply only to accounts and devices with a Premium license.
It can be bought for up to 300 users. Above that, Microsoft has other licenses.

The license costs €20.01 per user per month, plus VAT, billed monthly, with a one-year commitment. The setup is paid once, separately, at the price in the offer. For companies with managed IT, keeping the rules in place is then part of the subscription.
Yes, at any time during the year. From the switch on, you pay the Premium price instead of the Standard one, and accounts, emails and files stay as they are. Going back to Standard, or reducing the number of licenses, is only possible on the subscription's anniversary date.
No. The license only gives you the tools. Someone still has to watch the alerts, confirm it's really an attack and stop it spreading. That's what SOC monitoring does, meaning the specialist analysts we work with, who watch alerts 24/7, as part of managed IT.

In the free 45-minute assessment we look together at your current accounts, computers and rules, and tell you what Premium would cover on top. Afterwards you get our offer in writing.
